Professor Essam Sinan, Executive Director of the Muslim Minorities Observatory, signed a cooperation agreement this morning between the Center for Minority Studies and the Muslim Minorities Observatory in London.
The agreement was signed at the Center for Minority Studies headquarters in Khartoum, in the presence of Professor Mohamed Safar, Director of the Center for Minorities.
Sinan expressed his pleasure at signing the agreement, which he expects will enhance joint efforts in serving Muslim minorities who face various challenges worldwide.
He stated that the agreement, once implemented, will help inform the Arab world about the details and challenges facing the Muslim community in addressing the legal and media needs of its Muslim minorities.
Professor Mohamed Safar, Director of the Center for Minorities, said that the agreement aims to develop and enhance studies and research of mutual interest through close cooperation.
He added that the goal is to form a joint working group, comprising specialists from both parties, to implement this memorandum, in addition to focusing on training programs and workshops.
It is worth noting that the Center for Minority Studies is a specialized center in the field of scientific research and strategic studies on minority issues.
The Observatory of Persecuted Minorities – London specializes in legal training, media publishing, and research and studies in the field of Muslim minorities.
