A delegation from the Center for Minority Studies, represented by its Director General, Professor Muhammad Safar, and a member of the Center’s Media Office, Professor Muhammad Sarhan, visited the Association of Muslim Scholars of East Turkestan in Istanbul. During the visit, the delegation met with the Association’s Vice President, Professor Sirajuddin Azizi, and Deputy Secretary General, Professor Nizamuddin Tamkini.
The meeting included a review of the work and interests of both institutions and ways to cooperate in serving the Muslim minority in Turkestan.
The delegation concluded its visit by touring the Association’s Media Center.
