Joint Projects Launched Between the Center for Minority Studies and the World Rohingya Union
A consultative meeting was held yesterday between the Center for Minority Studies and a delegation from the World Rohingya Union at the Center’s headquarters to activate partnership projects between the two institutions. The meeting opened with a welcome from Professor Mohammed Safar to the head of the delegation, Professor Abdullah Marouf, Vice President of the Union, and a review of some proposed cooperation projects. For his part, Marouf thanked the Center’s administration for its role in serving the Rohingya cause and then gave a brief overview of the latest developments in advocating for the Rohingya issue on the international stage.
Essam El-Din Sinan, Executive Director of the Minorities Observatory, praised the human rights and professional media efforts undertaken by the World Rohingya Union through its various institutions. Initial approval was also given to activate research and training projects between the Center and the Union at the beginning of next year.
